Mt. Itoi SSB stage

I chose Mt. Itoi from the first Mother game (a.k.a. EarthBound Zero) for a new Mother/EarthBound stage. Like I said about Ninten, the first Mother game is the only one in its series that has yet to be physically represented in Smash Bros. I believe that Mt. Itoi would be the best choice for a stage in that case because it actually plays an important part in the EarthBound Zero’s story.

The players can walk on the surface terrain and jump down the holes into the cave. Above the ground a giant robot known as the R7038XX will occasionally appear far in the background and attack. It will shoot energy blasts in a similar fashion to the cannon on the Halberd stage in Brawl. The players can avoid this hazard by jumping into the cave. Also, another robot known as EVE will rise up from a whirlpool in the middle of the lake. When she appears, she will fight off the other robot until they both explode.
